Royal Park Apartment is directly opposite the East Gate of the Royal Park, or Holyrood Park, the former hunting grounds of the Scottish kings. More recently, it featured in the films 'One Day' and 'The Illusionist'. Within two minutes walk from the apartment you can find yourself admiring a flotilla of swans at St Margaret's Loch and climbing up to the ruined St Anthony's Chapel for wide views of the City and across the Firth of Forth to the Kingdom of Fife. The more energetic will be drawn to climb to the summit of Arthur's Seat, over 3,000 feet above sea level. Here, the views are spectacular in all directions: Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile, the rooftops and spires of the City, the Forth Bridge, the Port of Leith spread below like a three-dimensional map.
